The J² Method’s College Audition Prep program is a cornerstone of the equation.
Students receive the highest level of guidance and support as they prepare for the next step in their journey. With personalized material selection, in-depth group and individual coaching, and masterclasses led by industry professionals and respected college faculty, our training goes far beyond the basics.
In addition to comprehensive artistic preparation, students have exclusive access to premier audition platforms including Moonifieds in Dallas and Chicago Unifieds, empowering them to step into their future with confidence, clarity, and connection.
Showcase / Performance Opportunities
Students of The J² Company’s directors participate in various performance opportunities throughout the year. In the past these have included: Austin’s Trail of Lights, The Dell Children’s Hospital Gala, The Boy’s and Girl’s Club Gala, Austin Dancing with the Stars and many more.
The J² Company Showcase: “The Equation in Motion”
The J² Company’s end-of-year musical theatre showcase is a celebration of artistry, growth, and community. The Showcase is the culmination of a year’s worth of rigorous, conservatory-style training, which brings together every element of The J² Method’s core disciplines.
Under the guidance of industry professionals and Broadway artists, students perform dynamic solos, scenes and ensemble numbers that highlight their individuality, technique, and creative evolution. More than a recital, it’s a reflection of the Method’s values: Visionary, Empowered, Creative, Integrity, Wellness and Community. Our goal is to showcase not only talent, but the incredible growth and entire journey of each student. Each year, the showcase becomes a living expression of The J² Method’s mission: to train the next generation of theatre professionals who perform with purpose, create with authenticity, and lead together with heart.
The J² Company
Students who have trained with The J² Method founders - Jen and Josh, have gained acceptance into the nation's most renowned Musical Theatre, Acting, Dance, and Vocal Performance programs. We have long-standing relationships with college reps, casting directors, and university professors, and collaborate with them throughout the year to ensure our students have the most current and impactful college audition process.
